Albert Desmond began his criminal career as Mr. Element using his background in science to create bulletproof silicon and magnetic light. Once in jail, he learns of the Philosopher's Stone, and goes on to become the more formidable Dr. Alchemy. Alchemy's profile has gone up in recent years with his appearances on the CW Flash show. He's got such a simple yet toyetic look that it's surprising he never got a DCUC figure, but we never got nearly enough Rogues from Mattel.

The good doctor, or rather bad doctory, began as mostly a DCUC Dr. Mid-Nite figure, with a Kobra (Lord Naga) head and cape piece with a sculpted knot. Besides that he has arms from a Jack Knight Starman with the cuffs sanded off. His pouch came from an ML Captain America belt that was cutdown a little but in height while the Philosopher's Stone was made from a combination of moldable plastic and super glue to give it a more coarse, organic feel to it.
