Started with some Mortal Kombat figure I got for next to nothing, and sculpted the rest out of Aves Apoxie. The head is from a mold I made of Old Man Logan to which I added hair, and I made the weapons from scratch. The loincloth is made from felt I soaked in watered-down elmers glue to add strength. Conan! What is best in life?
Sculpted his weapons, including the sword which is removable from its scabbard.
Testing fabric
This was my initial cut for the loincloth. I ended up using a different color, but its just made from felt that I soaked with glue. I didn't want to use real leather as I try to avoid using anything with animal products (I'm a vegetarian).
Mid-sculpt
Started with a Mortal Kombat figure. I had to scrape off a bunch of raised tattoos or something, I dont like MK, so I know nothing about who it was.
