So I'd typically wait til I had everyone painted but I'm skipping ahead and throwing this guy up now. I finished him awhile ago just needed to paint him. This is the Doom 4 cyberdemon he is fully sculpted over a 14.5 inch hulk action figure from hasbro and is fully articulated only loosing the hand articulation. I began this project by cutting his head and shoulders from his chest/stomach articulation. Then used foil to reposition and form the cyberdemons shape. Also cut his shins and extended them by about an inch (I don't measure anything) :/ I also globbed foil to the bottom of his feet to extend the hieght. Than to preserve the tightness of the joints took the legs and arms off while I sculpted the damn thing. The clay gets a bit heavy and ever effort counts. Everything else is the typical sculpt and paint job. The concept head is because I really don't care for the new look and wanted to show how easily it could have been fixed. I do have a wip video on YouTube under en ulmer. I'm posting the finished one tonight. Beware my launge and quality!!! Also started an Instagram under enulmertrickets to show instant progress, completions, and other crap. I hope everyone is doing well and I really hope this fires you all up, that we can create any of the things we want in this sport! ![]() |

Pure inspiration.
Your sculpting skills are off the charts, the grid, and most importantly, the wagon. I may make an instagram account, in fact, for the sole purpose of viewing your sculpting methods.
