I'm a huge fan of Berserk (both manga and anime): I love the violence, I love Lentaro Miura's drawings, I love the story (although it ripps off maybe too much from gore classics like Evil Dead and Hellraiser), so the only thing it was left from this (otherwise absolutely excellent) figure was, in my opinion, a good old load of splattered blood. Firstly, I started painting the sword and put on its two sides two different blood patterns: one side has less blood than the other. This could be seen as a mistake but it actually let me display Guts in two different possibilities: one more covered in blood than the other, which is not bad. Than I painted the figure, adding two different red paints (just like for the sword) in the most likely places where a blood spray taken in battle could go.
