Please check out the previous versions of this one: tan tunic and B/W. Copied describtion from the b/W one since rundown is pretty much the same. I wanted to make a Mirage Neca Splinter to match my turtles. Everything they came with, I tried to mirror here. Tried matching the style, paints and accessories, even the packaging.

...Also wanted to cast everything so I would not get paintrub when posing him.
Basebody was made using the head, torso and feet from 2004 Animated movie Splinter. waist and thighs were from a bootleg NECA turtle. Elbows, knees and neck from NBA Hero. sleeves and skirt from LOTR Gandalf figure. Fingers from wrestling figure. . All were chopped and sanded until the desired proportions. Then sculpted fur on top with Aves and green stuff. Head was shaved totally down and resculpted. Tunic was resculpted. When the parts were done, figure was taken apart and every single piece was molded with Smooth On Oomoo and cast using different materials from Smooth on. Softer silicone was used for the tunic, sleeves and skirt, given them another material feel. Resin used for fur was dyed brown, tunic is cast in red, unpainted. Painted the fur parts and added the black lines.
Sculpted a walking cane and molded the TCRI canister from the NECA set and cracked it with a dremmel. Made some cast using a pool of resin and gave it a good coat of clear gloss. Molded and casted original NECA Dio piece with modification to complete the look. Also modified a large toy rat, and shaved it down to fit.
All pieces are cast in their correct colors. Tried to keep as much unpainted as I could.
Package is an original clam, modified to fit this figure. Scanned the inlays and changed the text, logos and even did my own artwork to match the originals. Very happy with this final one. He is the only one I made in red BTW.
