The main body for Triton is Omega Red down to the hips. The middle is scratch built, the legs are the legs of 4 WWF wrestlers.
Tails and fins were capes.
Used Magic Sculpt and/or Aves to do his bracers, scales and hair.

The hippocampus are both polyurethane resin casts I made of the horses from Sleepy Hollow and Lord of the Rings because I wanted each horses face to be unique. I sculpted the complete tail for one and made a mold and ran off two copies. The segments are held together with super-powerful rare earth magnets.

Pulling it all together is Triton's chariot, built from pink and blue construction foam, hot glue and bondo. I think it's pretty obvious I used the airbrush on this. Wiked Color airbrush paint. Triton was mostly (95%) bristle brush. Tamiya and Model Master primarily. Horses sprayed chrome silver, chrome pen highlights, and Tamiya transparent blue lightly over the top, with some white highlights over that.

This project took almost two years. I started using an airbrush. There was a bit of a learning curve. The horses were originally intended to be case in a clear resin, but it never set up properly, or it remained tacky (despite using surface treatments). I had mold boxes blow out. I had so much failure on every level. The final failure was actually so bad it freed me. I was like 'head, stop banging against wall' moment. Once I stopped overcomplicating it everything came together and I was finally able to complete it, more or less how I had visualized it in my imagination.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Pictures
Helmet is made from two shoulder armor parts from a Planet of the Apes figure, the horns are another shoulder piece, maybe from a McFarlain figure? Chest armor is from another PotA figure. Trident is mostly scratch built but has a staff from a Witchblade figure, I think.
