It’s a shame that Jack Nicholson costs too much to buy the rights to his likeness for these cheap ass figures, but necessity is the mother of invention. And if you want a Joker to go with your Michael Keaton Batman, then I guess you have to make one yourself. This custom took hours upon hours to complete, mostly because the painting took a great deal of time and care. My painting isn’t great, but the key was the detailing, as costume (particularly the pants) have a very particular look. I was surprised and pleased that the headsculpt seemed to come together such as it did. This is possibly the best custom I’ve ever worked on, IMHO, and since I completed it in the summer of 2014, its held up quite nicely since then.
