The cancelled second wave of the 2009 STAR TREK line from Playmates was due to contain a fair amount of figures based on the action sequences from the film. This Sulu figure is based on one of these figures, namely the halo jump/space drill sequence halfway through the movie. This was a fun one to make, that I honestly took forever to make because I was nervous about how long it would take, but the process turned out to be a lot of fun. I am very pleased with how this turned out. Figure was completed in November 2018.
