This is a commission piece that I was really excited to work on. They wanted a more robotic version of Red Tornado with a high collar and gave me creative freedom with the rest. It was a challenge to figure out how to incorporate the soft goods in the the robotic detail but I really liked how it turned out. The tornado effect was the largest resin cast I've ever made. The figure's torso separates from the waist and can be attached to the tornado effect via a double ball peg system. Enjoy!

Beautiful work! I love that he has the tornado on his lower body as well, as this is the challenge for this character’s custom! The wind blown cape is a wonderful detail! Kudos!

Thanks! Wired capes allow for some pretty expressive posing! The tornado effect is a fun accessory. It took several casting attempts to get it where I was happy with it.

Nice mash up of cloth and plastic for red tornado. Nice to see it actually has the whole cloth thing going in still, unlike the Mezco Ironman with was all plastic. I know he's supposed to be all metal, but the soft goods is a huge part of the Mezco line, so to see you successfully integrate the soft goods into a completely metal character is really neat.

Thank you! It was challenging to figure out how to incorporate the soft goods while keeping the whole figure streamlined but problem solving is my favorite part of customizing!
