Charged Punches Effects Custom Tutorial

Shows how to make punching energy effects for figures

Things needed: glue gun, rubber band, foil, paints, figure.

What to do?

1st step: Put foil on your figure's arm and tie rubber band around it to prevent the foil from moving.

2nd step: Start putting hot glue on foil, I recommend making shape similar to Marvel Legends Sunfire's and Iron Fist's effects like on the pictures below. You have to make almost exact same shape around figure's arm, so later it will fit perfectly.

WARNING: Hot glue is like hot water or hair dryer: It makes figure's arm very soft!!!

3rd step

When you have your effect done, cut the foil which is sticking out and start painting the glue. I was making Fire Effect for my Ghost Rider, so I painted it in white, yellow, orange and red. I used this picture as an example to paint the effect.
