Juggernaut Customs - Replacing Broken Pegs Custom Tutorial
How to replace broken pegs on action figures!

Please wait...
This tutorial is a simple flow chart, start to finish, on how to replace broken pegs. In this example its the wrist peg that completely broke off. I attempted this with screws and such in the past but this is now my go-to solution. Thought I'd share.

NOTE:
For the plastic stick, I used an old action figure spear from a G.I. Joe or something. It was the right size for the peg I needed. Be creative and look around to find the right material for your project. DO NOT breathe in any fumes from plastics. Its my duty to tell you to do this in a well ventilated room or outside. The goal is NOT to catch it on fire, but to hold heat close to make it form a ball on the tip like in the photos. If it catches fire, simply blow it out. Let it cool for a few seconds before messing with it or you could misshape the new ball/peg.
NOTE:
This is probably one of the most important parts. LET...THE...GLUE...DRY!!!! Give it a few hours (no matter how fast it appears to have dried). Trust me on this. Its worth the wait to get your figure back in action. Why risk it?!
