Here’s the cheapskate method I’ve developed for giving rocker ankles to Hasbro figures with the old ankle scheme (Elektra, Silver Surfer, Daredevil, Madame Hydra, Union Jack, etc). There’s no need to spend money in Revoltech joints, nor cannibalize any other figure. You can do this with everyday items you can find in your house.
This method doesn't shorten the shins, keeping everything proportional and with a natural flow.
You’re going to need:
- Knife
- Small screwdrivers
- Drill or dremel (the later one would save a lot of time)
- Hairdryer (or hot water – more dangerous to the paint and yourself)
- 2 twist ties
- Paint
- Epoxy
- Superglue
- Sandpaper
This method can be applied to MU’s and some G.I. Joes too.
