Pachycephalosaurus "Ram Head"
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Dinos - Series 1
Rated 4.80 stars by Mr-X
The Patchy, which ill use as its shortened name, was one of the species captured by the Hunters party to be brought to the mainland. When the Gatherers raided the Hunters camp, the Patchy's where one of many dinos that were freed and caused chaos in the Hunters camps, even destroying some of the Hunters gear in the process. The Patchy stands at about 4.75 inches at full height, this is acceptable since it’s in a full stance position and comes to almost the exact height of the humans, which it did. The Patchy comes with two interesting things, capture gear and a ramming head. The capture gear actually snaps together and comes over the Patchy's head and body. The head gear is a cagelike device with a metal plate over the animals face. It connects to the body restraint by a small peg that...[See More]
Ajay (Big Game Stalker)
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 2
Rated 1.00 stars by Mr-X
This is another JP figure that is one of the best made in my opinion. While his clothes and weapons aren’t accurate to his movie likeness, his head is EXACT which is rare. Ajay comes at 5 inches and comes with three things. He comes with a a machine gun, a backpack with rocket launcher and a Parasaurolophus hatchling. I have to argue this hatchling's name. Parasaurolophus are the duck billed ones with the horns on their head while this looks much more like a Dilo, like a smaller spitter. Anywho, back to the rest of his gear. I got my figure loose from a buddy and I didn’t find the machine gun so I cant review it correctly but it actually looks like a machine gun, allot like a modified Uzi with longer barrel and scope. The cannon and backpack idea is pretty good. The pack fits into a...[See More]
Roland Tembo
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 1
Rated 5.00 stars by Mr-X
The Great White Hunter, Roland Tembo looks nothing like his movie character but this isn’t a bad thing. In this form he looks more like a hardcore hunter then his movie likeness, just my opinion. Two figures were made, the more common had him with no hair while the other had hair. Tembo comes at 5 inches tall and with three things. He apparently comes with a knife, though I cant really review it. Mine must have been lost over the years since I don’t have it anymore but it doesn’t look like anything to special, just some GI Joe look alike, at least when its in the package. He also comes with a Dino Stun prod. For a stun prod, this thing is huge!!! Its nearly as big as he is. It also has a cool stun feature. You pull backwards on the back lever, pulling the prod and the two wings in to...[See More]
Nick Van Owen
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 1
Rated 4.80 stars by Mr-X
Another figure that didn’t come out exactly like his movie character but I think he adds more this way then like his movie character would have. It’s kinda ironic how most of his things are all resculpts. He does have a variant, one with no hat and one with the hat, I think the one with the hat is more common. Owen comes at 5 inches and comes with three items. The first being a weird camera that he can use to "film the wildlife". He also comes with a spray weapon, an exact copy of the Nedry spray gun but in different colors. He also comes with a Pteranodon hatchling which is the big flying ones for those who don’t know their dinos. I’m not 100% positive but I think his body is a resculpt of a Congo figure or Vide Versa. Both are in the exact same pose, both are made by the same company...[See More]
Ian Malcolm
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 1
Rated 5.00 stars by Mr-X
While majority of the humans from the JP lines were nowhere close to looking like their movie counterparts, the Malcolm figures were always much closer then most figures, except for the Chaos Effect figure but thats another review. I suppose this is due to how simple his character is. All they really had to do was put him in all black and there ya go, Ian Malcolm. For the JPLW line, one figure was made but with a variant. You could either get him with long hair like in the first movie or with shorter hair like in the Lost World. Neither of which really effect the figure itself, both hairs are sculpted nicely and don't hinder the figure in any way. The Malcolm figure in this review comes at about 5 inches tall. He comes with one weapon and the hatchling, both of which are pretty much...[See More]
Eddie Carr
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 1
Rated 4.75 stars by Mr-X
Eddie Carr was the mechanic and operator of the machines taken by the Gatherers to Site B. Carr stands at 5 inches and comes with two things making him one of the more simple figures of the series. He comes with a capture claw weapon and a Trike hatchling. The capture claw is your typical shot weapon. Stick it into his hand, load dart, fire. One nice thing is that the dart is attached to a string which is then attached to the gun allowing him to "reel in" the prey. The Trike hatchling is sculpted in a moving cautiously position or a scared pose. Carr's paintjob is pretty good, though again not movie accurate. He comes wearing tan safari gear with green shoulders. Around his neck he has a pair of glasses painted brown as are his boots and hat. The gun is painted grey with the reel and...[See More]
Dieter Stark
Jurassic Park - Lost World (Kenner) - Humans - Series 1
Rated 4.80 stars by Mr-X
Dieter Stark was a cruel and rather stupid member of the Hunters party to Site B. Here he harassed the local dino's with his shock prod. He later got lost, lost his weapon and was attacked by the same things he taunted. Dieter stands at about 5 inches tall and looks nothing like his movie counterpart. In the movie he looks more like an gruff outdoorsmen, this guy looks like some kid in hunting gear. Dieter comes with three things, a net launcher, a pistol and a compy. One thing you may ne able to notice is that the compy has a magnet in its mouth. There is a reason for this. In Dieters chest they placed another magnet so when the compy's mouth is placed by Dieters chest, they stick together to make it look lik he's getting attacked. The pistol and net launcher are also cool. Both aren’t...[See More]
Robert Muldoon
Jurassic Park (Kenner) - Humans
Rated 4.80 stars by Mr-X
Muldoon was the game warden of Jurassic Park that had two very different personalities, one of the movies and one of the book. The biggest difference of the two was the fact the movie one died while the book one lived. But enough of a lecture, you're here for a review :) Muldoon stands about five inches tall but you wouldn't guess it. The way they sculpted his legs makes him look like he’s much shorter, they just seem tiny compared to his body. He comes with the collector card, a backpack, bazooka, two shots and a rex hatchling. The bazookas your standard gun, it goes over his shoulder, load a shot, pull lever and watch it fly. A nice thing is that both shots are different sculpts. The pack straps to his back and allows him to carry both of his shots. The rex hatchling is sculpted in...[See More]
Dennis Nedry
Jurassic Park (Kenner) - Humans
Rated 4.75 stars by Mr-X
The Jurassic Park lines have always produced good figures. The figures are always durable, have good playability and come with good weapons. Their only problem has to be that they aren’t in any way movie accurate besides in name. If anything, they are closer to the book. Dennis Nedry here is no exception. Standing at roughly 5 inches(mines buried under more figures so I don’t have an exact measurement) he comes with several things. First off he comes with a collector card, a little card with a fun fact on the back and a scene from the movie on the front. Its amusing how they take Nedrys death scene and turn it into childhood humor by saying he’s taking a slide in the mud. He also comes with "dino damage" arms. In laymen’s terms, you can pull both arms off at will and put them back in. A...[See More]

Star Wars - Power of the Jedi (Kenner) - Deluxe Figures
Rated 5.00 stars by Mr-X
Two characters, one easily known as the annoying little fellow that was Jabbas pet...thing. The other an alien bounty hunter from a race nicknamed "Head Hunters" fro their tendency to keep their victims skulls to adorn their staffs. Both interesting figures that brought back my interest in the Power of the Jedi series. Fans of the SW lines after the 1995 series may agree with me, it only went downhill afterwards. The Power of the Jedi line does little more then re-enforce this. The whole line was remakes except for the Expanded Universe series. This wouldn’t be to bad except for the fact that all of the figures hands were sculpted smaller and their weapons were make smaller and weaker. So small that all the figures from series before couldn’t hold them and were easily broken due to their...[See More]
