Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) Reviews
Captain America (Ultimate)
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 8
Rated 4.99 stars by Henchmen4Hire
What is it about guys who dress primarily in red and blue that attracts people? Take Superman, Spiderman, and Thor for example. Well, I don't really care, that was just filler talk. Apparently there are four versions of a Marvel Legends Captain America floating around. The original Series 1, Series 8 Ultimate Captain America and Classic Captain America (variants), and the new unmasked version in the Face-Off two-pack. For some reason the version that has grey stripes on his body is insanely expensive anywhere you try to buy it, so I bought the one without the stripes to review. He looks exactly the same (as far as I know anyway, the other one might have an extra lace on his boots) except for the grey stripes. The Cap stands heroically at 6 1/4 inches. He comes with his standard shield...[See More]

Update:
Apparently there are 5 versions of ML Captain America. The Face-Off Series has an unmasked and a masked version. It has this Series 8 body but with red gloves and boots and with the normal mask with the little wings. The head sculpt for it looks great too, it looks better than the Series 1 in the pictures I''ve seen, but in person who knows...

Another update:
Apparently there is a third variant to the Series 8 Captains. One of them does have the little wings on his mask, wether it''s the Ultimate or Classic version, I don''t know, but it could be both and now we have 7 different Captains. Come on, that''s just ridiculous.
Daredevil
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 3

This is a great figure to add to your marvel collection! This Daredevil action figre is based on the film (Daredevil) Starring Ben affleck. The toy not only has a great design it looks like ben!Toy is a little stiff but other than that he is cool!...[See More]
Elektra
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 4
Rated 4.50 stars by rex
This toy is very fun to add to your collection! The only problem is that Elektras' face and uper body came out a little deformed. Her out fit is very cool, her breasts are a little to big.Her hair is a little short, but those are the only flaws in her. Other than that I give Elektra a 4.50...[See More]

I knew her face was going to be wierd!
What do you mean her body is deformed though? I was going to make a custom out of her, but if she''s deformed...
Juggernaut
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 6
Rated 5.00 stars by argel319
This figure is so awesome!!! He stands about 10 inches has 40 points of articulation and a removable mask!! His arms may be a bit long but that's the way it's supposed to be! Ya know so he can punch people from a longer distance. He has a 4 way waist articulation which is good so that all the weight doesn't go to the legs causing him to fall. The sculpt is so breathtaking! He looks exactly as he did in the comics but somehow just way better! All the wrinkles on his clothes, that old metal feel are all detailed! He is a little browner than in the comics but that makes him better. Gives him a more dangerous, evil effect. So far he is the biggest, heaviest and most detailed of my figures. The head is also nice. Looks like Cain Marko but better. The mask is made out of a hard...[See More]

Not quite 7 inches, but still a badass figure. This is one of the best figures ever made. I originally got myself one to put on the shelf, and it was just so freekin kickass that I got 1 for my boy so he could open it.

Omega Red
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 10 - The Sentinel Series
Rated 5.00 stars by Henchmen4Hire
Like many other horrific attempts to duplicate a Captain America/Wolverine-type super-soldier, a Russian mutant, Arkady Rossovich, was chosen for such an experiment. The result? Omega Red, a 7-foot-tall, indestructible, toxic monster with extendable wrist-tendrils and a taste for world domination, communist-style! His body infused with Carbonadium, an easier-to-work with, but just as strong metal as Adamantium, he's one tough cookie to break. Even Wolverine's claws have trouble with him! One thing I find strange though, why would a Russian super-soldier be given a name from the Greek alphabet? Maybe there aren't any cool Russian letters that sound "doomsday" enough? Anyway, it's amazing how the sculptors of the Marvel Legends figures somehow manage to take cartoon/comic characters and...[See More]
Mr. Sinister
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 10 - The Sentinel Series
Rated 5.00 stars by Henchmen4Hire
Everyone's favorite immortal/psychic vampire/genetic-engineering-genius/soul-reaver/evil-incarnate is finally put into a respectable scale! What's that Mr Sinister?...I must write a sparkling review about you or you'll eat my soul?...sounds reasonable... Just when I thought Thor was a tall as they came, Sinister comes along and tops him at 7.2 inches! He is massive, the muscle is perfect, and the detail is amazing. His pale face is chiseled out of gravestone while the chrome-red eyes shine brightly like the red jewel on his forehead. He has that classic 80's flat-top hair and even a goatee. I couldn't find any paint-flaws on him (since not much of him is painted anyway, lol). There is intricate scroll-work on his chrome-red belt, blue rubber shoulderpads, and gloves. The blood-red stone...[See More]

Hawkeye
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 7
Rated 5.00 stars by Clint Barton
I love this figure! It has a more slender construction than most other ML figures (which totally fits his comic build)and has 38(?) POA. I was really impressed with the legs, having 6 poa knees down. The loose arrows are cool and look gimmicky(like they should) and fit in the quiver snugly. One of the arrows comes with a tiny Ant Man laying on it to re-create the scene on the cover of the included comic. The base is the atomic steed he used in the Thunderbolts comic(he may have used it before, im not sure) and he sits on it without being put in an unrealistic pose. The only problem with this figure i had was getting one. This is, in my veiw, is the best ML figure produced....[See More]

I looked and looked for him for months, hitting every WalMart, Zellers, Toys R Us every week( I had just compleated my Sentinal set when I found him). Ive only seen him once more at a comic shop for $25.(Mine was $14 at a flea market) The avalibilty for stuff in Nova Scotia sucks!

X-Men Legends
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Box Sets
Rated 5.00 stars by Henchmen4Hire
I suspected Toy Biz would do with Wolverine what Kenner did with Batman, and they did. Many variations of Wolvie have been made, like the brown-suit and un-masked versions, but since these are Marvel Legend-type figures, people will shell out the cash for every single one. The good thing is that the variations are all worth buying because they all represent Wolverine as he was and is in different eras of his life. I wonder if they'll make and release the very first Wolverine, the one with whiskers! This review is for the un-masked Wolvie that comes in the ML X-men gift pack. Wolverine stands 6 inches to the top of his head and 6 1/4 inches to the top of his awesomely wild hair. He isn't exactly supposed to be the tallest guy in the world so he looks a little over-sized, but he has claws...[See More]
Black Panther
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 10 - The Sentinel Series
Rated 4.99 stars by Henchmen4Hire
These Marvel Legends sculpts just keep getting better and better with each passing series. New joint-types are introduced, character similarities are more accurate, and they even begin to smell better (not that I sniff them that is...). Just mention Black Panther and everyone knows he's dark, stealthy, and lethal (if we wanted to be :P) even if they've never heard of him before. Likewise, you don't have to know who Black Panther is to find this figure very impressive (and if you like Batman, then a storage mystical power is going to force you to buy this guy). Panther stands at almost exactly 6 inches tall (6.01 if you count his pointy ears) wearing a completely dark cat-suit with golden eyes, hand-claws, and accents. Panther has one of the best cat-suit sculpts. Even though the suit is...[See More]

I think it was just to give it a more realistic feel. What I find weird is most of the fig was reused to make Wonder Man
Mystique
Marvel Legends (Toy Biz) - Series 10 - The Sentinel Series
Rated 3.00 stars by Henchmen4Hire
There is nothing worse than false advertising by toy companies, NOTHING worse, especially when Toy Biz does it with their Marvel Legends. Mystique stands exactly 6 inches tall. She wears her classic white dress with the a ring of bronzed skulls at her belt. Her skin is blue with yellow eyes and red lips, but for some reason her hair is not the vibrant red we all remember! It's brown instead with only a hint of red. But to be fair, she wouldn't look like a ML figure if her hair were bright red. Her face is pretty good, but don't stare at her for too long or you'll begin to notice that her face looks a tiny bit too wide. The white paint at the edges of her boots, gloves, and top is sometimes slightly blurry and sometimes so bad it's like a slap in the face. The white coat of paint is...[See More]
